Greg Spencer recently retired from a distinguished career with the Royal Fleet Auxiliary Service (RFA) of the Royal Navy. A Qualified Master Mariner, his career followed a lifetime of sea experience which started in commercial liner shipping and cumulated in the RFA. He has served extensively in a wide variety of wet and dry ships with world wide trading experience. During his RFA service he attended the Royal Naval Staff College and has been seconded twice to serve ashore in the British Royal Naval organisation.
He now works as a Marine Consultant focusing on ISPS and ISM/ISM consultancy.
He holds a current Class 1 Master Mariner Certificate (Unlimited), a Master’s Degree in Nautical Studies, and a Bachelors Degree of Arts. He is a Member of the Charter Institute of Logistics and Transport, the Nautical Institute and a Freeman of the Honourable Company of Master Mariners."
